The Lift MISUNDERSTANDING (Chapter 1 )

    THE LIFT MISUNDERSTANDING
    Chapter One: An Ordinary Day
The days were ordinary in a small family where nothing seemed unusual. There was a nineteen-year-old boy, his mother and father, his grandmother, and his sister. Life moved in its familiar rhythm—school, work, meals, small arguments, and the quiet routines of home.
One day, the boy began experiencing stomach pain. It was not unbearable, and because he sometimes ate food from outside, everyone assumed it was probably something he had eaten. Even the boy did not take it very seriously.

The boy got ready, ate something, and prepared to leave. His grandmother, however, insisted that they should go at 9 AM.
“Grandma, the appointment is at 10:30,” he explained. “The doctor won't be there before that. If we go too early, we'll just sit there and wait.” She did not agree.
