    I Didn’t Shut the Door, I Put It On The Page.

    “We shall not regret the past, nor wish to shut the door on it.”
    That line has become very real for me.
    I did not write Relief Is Coming because I wanted to keep living in the past.
    I wrote it because I no longer wanted to waste it.
    If I have had a spiritual awakening, then part of what I am trying to do now is carry the message to other alcoholics and practice these principles in the rest of my life.
    The painful parts are still part of the story.
    They just have a different purpose now.
