The Curtains are just Blue
A short Narrative Poem about the danger of living only on the surface. Exploring how questions and picking apart meaning can lead us toward empathy, understanding, and a richer experience of being human.
Perhaps they are just blue. But what matters is that we ask why.

Plushie
When strange noises draw a sleep-deprived man into his attic, he discovers an old teddy bear tucked away amongst forgotten belongings. Harmless, ordinary, and yet somehow... familiar.
But, as the night wears on, the house begins to feel less like a home, and more like a place he no longer recognises. Whispers echo through empty rooms, shadows linger where they shouldn't, and the bear never seems to be quite where he left it.
With his exhausted mind turning against him, he can no longer trust what he sees. But is there anything to worry about?
After all, it's only a teddy bear... isn't it?
