I was thirteen years old in northern Minnesota when something cracked open in me that I have never been able to close. What arrived uninvited that day was a direct perception of connection — between all living things, between the visible and invisible world, between what we are and what we come from. I didn't have language for it then. I've spent the fifty years since building that language.
I am a novelist, astrologer, oil painter, potter, and former special education teacher. I have seven completed novels and a fictional universe called Dagoma that grew directly from that awakening — from 25 years of dream journals, from a lifetime of paying attention to what lives underneath the surface of things.
I chose Written because I believe in direct connection. Between author and reader. Between creator and community. No intermediaries. No gatekeepers. Just the work and the people it belongs to.
That's not a publishing philosophy. That's how I've understood the world since I was thirteen.
