Casandra is back in Leinad with the Crystal of Tides. She now must prepare to leave once more, in search of the Crystal of Ice, which is located in the north at the Iceborne Spire. She faces many perils along the way, including the Dark Lord's servant, King Marchan, who attempts to thwart her efforts to retrieve five crystals that will defeat his master. Casandra, along with an enigmatic thief and the king's own brother, travel to a hostile kingdom in order to find the Crystal of Ice, while being followed by a bounty hunter who has been hired by the king of this nation, also a tool of the Dark Lord. Will Casandra succeed in retrieving the Crystal of Ice, or will she fall victim to evil?
