Obscura Stridor follows Max, an aging civil engineer who has recently survived a severe, near-fatal case of the coronavirus. Facing mounting medical debts and the threat of forced early retirement, a still-recovering Max returns to work for the city transit agency. He is tasked with leading two young interns on a late-night shift into the decommissioned, pitch-black Eureka Valley Station to document antiquated electrical lines. They may not be alone.
