The waves don't ask if we're ready. Loss comes. Fear comes. Shame comes. The past rises like a tide we thought had already gone out.
Waves & Wounds is a collection of poems written somewhere between the waves. Some came on still mornings when the water was calm. Others came in storms, when the only prayer left was a whisper: "Help me."
