Ok.. in about 6 and half hours it'll be my birthday..
This one is gonna be hard .. see it'll be the 1st time in 33 years that my 1st birthday wish doesn't come from my Beloved.. and 4 days after that it'll be the 1st time in 33 yrs that I can't (physically) do the same... 16 and 20.. our birth days and a sequence of numbers that has always followed us..
It's been 6 months since he left the house to go grt checked at the hospital .. and never came home.
Grief is a fickle, crazy thing.. especially with no way to get closure... And I'm finding that, for me, the best way.. maybe the only way atm.. for me to grieve and move through is to keep honoring our story and his legacy.
