A synopsis of the first book in a new series

Wyatt Cartwright, a man born on Earth, is torn from his world by a wormhole and delivered into the hybrid Empire of Tirren—a civilization of feline‑human hybrids, psychic avians, and ancient technologies left behind by a vanished race known only as the Ones Before. Though an outsider by origin, Wyatt quickly becomes essential to the Empire’s future. He marries four Tirren women—Gwendolyn, Yuzuki, Rika, and T’Shaya—each a pillar of strength, intuition, and cultural lineage. With them, he builds a family and a life that feels more like home than the world that raised him.
As Wyatt rises through the Empire’s ranks, his leadership, empathy, and uncanny intuition earn him the trust of Emperor Kael’Rahn and his son Kaelthorne. Wyatt becomes an envoy, a mediator, and eventually a central figure in the Empire’s push toward long‑range exploration. But the deeper he moves into Tirren society, the more the Threads—the metaphysical currents that bind fate—begin to stir around him.

The Oath and the First Mission

Wyatt formally pledges allegiance to Tirren, severing his political ties to Earth. Soon after, he leads the Empire’s first long‑range FTL training mission. The mission suffers a catastrophic warp collapse, stranding the crew between stars. Wyatt’s calm leadership prevents panic, unites the scientists and engineers, and restores the warp lattice after two days of grueling work. His wives feel the disturbance from afar, their worry deepening the emotional stakes of his role.
Upon his return, the Emperor publicly acknowledges Wyatt as Tirrenian by oath, service, and the binding of the Threads. This moment marks the beginning of Wyatt’s transformation from outsider to cornerstone of the Empire.

The Decade of Preparation

Over the next ten years, the Empire expands its wormhole infrastructure, develops warp 6 engines, and launches dozens of scanning pods into deep space. Wyatt oversees much of this work, becoming the face of the Empire’s exploration program. His wives anchor him emotionally, each offering unique guidance: Gwendolyn’s fierce devotion, Yuzuki’s discipline, Rika’s seer intuition, and T’Shaya’s ritual wisdom.
The Empire celebrates breakthrough after breakthrough, culminating in the launch of warp 9 scanning pods capable of mapping distant systems. For three years, the Empire waits.

The Blue Dot

One night, Pod Seven returns with a flagged anomaly: a pale blue dot and a smaller gray one beside it. Earth and Luna. The lost cradle of Wyatt’s origin.
The Empire erupts in celebration. The Emperor declares the Empire “whole,” and the High Council acknowledges Wyatt as the bridge between the worlds. Across Tirren, lanterns are lit, bells rung, and children paint blue dots on their cheeks. Wyatt’s wives react with awe, tenderness, and quiet fear. Wyatt himself feels the weight of destiny settle into his bones.

The Oldest Archive and the Truth of the Ancients

The Emperor opens the oldest archive—sealed since the First Crossing—and reveals the Thal’Keryon logbook, an indestructible artifact created by the Ones Before. The logbook describes Earth and Tirren as twin worlds seeded by the same vanished civilization. Their divergence was intentional. Their reunion was never meant to occur.
Yet one of the Ancients crossed the divide long ago. Wyatt.
The Emperor explains that Wyatt’s childhood wormhole visions were not hallucinations but memories of his first crossing. Wyatt realizes he has been to Tirren before—physically, literally—long before he understood what the Threads were.
Wyatt is the Bridge Walker, the exception the Ancients never foresaw.

The Three Days of Stillness

The revelation overwhelms Wyatt. That night, he falls into a metaphysical sleep so deep that his spirit leaves the physical plane. His wives keep vigil for three days. Caelyon, the ancient Soravi messenger, arrives and explains that Wyatt is with the Ones Before, learning what only he can carry.
Wyatt returns exhausted but transformed. He remembers impressions: a shore of light, figures of impossible age, the sorrow of the twin worlds, and a warning—the divergence widens still, but the bridge has returned.

The Weeks of Whispering Light

As the Empire prepares for the Crossing, Wyatt reaches out through the Thread to his sister Clara on Earth. Clara’s daughter Sarah, a budding seer, joins the connection with childlike excitement. Clara urges Wyatt to call their mother before arriving with a small army of hybrids, psychic birds, and mood‑ring horses.
Wyatt reveals the perfected FTL drive, the wormhole visions involving their mother and grandmother, and the discovery that their family has brushed against the Threads for generations. Clara is stunned but supportive.
The Soravi deliver a prophecy: Rika’s unborn child will wait to be born on Earth, on the soil of Wyatt’s origin. Rika dreams of the farm where Wyatt grew up, and the child turns toward it.

Kira: The Stowaway

Far away in the Sawtooth Mountains, a young Soravi named Kira receives visions of Earth and Sarah. Only eighty‑nine years old—barely past childhood by Soravi standards—she is commanded by the Threads to go to Earth and bond with Sarah. Knowing the elders would forbid it, she escapes the temple and stows away aboard the Thal’Keryon.
Rika senses the disturbance but cannot identify it. Kira hides in a storage bay as the ship prepares to launch.

The Crossing

The Thal’Keryon completes its final outfitting. Families board. The Jaguar Priestess joins unexpectedly. The Emperor visits Wyatt and Kaelthorne privately, offering guidance without ceremony.
On departure day, the Emperor gives a brief but solemn speech. The ship undocks, moves into open space, and activates the wormhole generators. The captain turns to Wyatt for the final order.
Wyatt says, “Engage.”
The Thal’Keryon enters the wormhole. Light folds. Space bends. The ship vanishes.
On the launch platform below, the Emperor stands alone, praying softly to the Threads.
Wyatt is gone.
The Crossing has begun.
Two worlds are about to meet.
