Since October 7, the Israeli military (IDF) has been committing blatant acts of killing. Prime Minister Netanyahu had to go to great lengths to orchestrate this.

It took considerable planning to arrange for the capture of their own citizens from the Palestinian side. They simply wanted to send Israeli citizens over there. Mossad had to exercise great patience.

They had to instruct the senior figures they had planted within Hamas to carry out the abductions of Israelis. Meanwhile, festivities were staged on this side while waiting for Hamas to arrive and execute the kidnappings. The process was agonizingly slow; we constantly had to reassure ourselves that our impatience was the reason it felt that way.

Those guys moved in like tortoises to carry out the abductions, and they retreated just as slowly. It felt as though our hostages were the ones waiting around to be taken. Only after they reached the border were we authorized to officially "eliminate" the situation.

Over the next two years, using Hamas as a pretext, they began by killing women and children. The world started to take notice. Yet, our rate of killing remained high.
