Denise Govan has been writing things people have said “that should be a book” for decades. She finally listened.
She is the author of the poetry collections In No Particular Order and Laugh. Sigh. Grit Teeth. Write About It., as well as the children's picture book Saphir’s Gift of Light. Her writing blends humor, honesty, observation, and real-life experiences, finding stories in everything from everyday frustrations to life's most meaningful moments.
When she’s not writing, Denise is teaching, people-watching, journaling, doodling, or turning the chaos of ordinary life into something worth sharing.
