My First Book: The Last Idol
I write because some questions refuse to leave me alone.
I am drawn to the things we rarely stop to examine: the beliefs we inherit, the truths we avoid, the fear of being alone with our thoughts, and the strange ways we surrender our freedom in search of certainty. I write about human nature, not as something I have understood completely, but as something I am still trying to understand.
Sometimes a poem begins with a feeling I cannot explain. Sometimes a story begins with an idea I cannot leave untouched. Whether I write poetry or philosophical fiction, I am interested in what lies beneath the surface—in the contradictions we carry, the meanings we create, and the things that remain when our familiar answers fall apart.
I do not write to offer people a philosophy to follow. I write to question the philosophies we already follow without knowing why. I would rather leave a reader with an honest question than give them a comfortable answer.
For me, writing is not about having the final word. It is about being willing to look again.
