RAISING A LION, NOT A LAMB 2.0: THE 30-DAY BRAVERY CHALLENGE
What if your child already has a brave heart they're just waiting for practice?
Bravery got mixed up with fearlessness. It isn't the same thing.
Fearlessness is the absence of fear. Bravery is doing the hard, right, or honest thing while the fear is still fully present. A child who is scared to speak up in class and does it anyway is braver in that moment than a child who was never scared at all.
Raising a Lion, Not a Lamb 2.0 is a 30-day parent-and-child challenge designed for real families. One small act of courage a day. Never a dramatic overhaul. Small is the point.
Across 30 days, your lion will practice 4 types of courage:
Social - Speak Up Out Loud, Ask in Public, Order It Yourself
Physical - Try Something Brand New, Take a Safe Risk, Physical Challenge
Emotional - Own Your Mistake, Lose Gracefully, Sleep Brave
Moral - Stand Up for Someone, Comfort a Friend, The Giving Challenge
Every day follows the same 5-part structure so your child knows what to expect:
Lion Wisdom - short teaching for your child
Today's Brave Challenge - the specific action
Roar Back - 2-minute reflection question where growth locks in
Parent Coach Tip - how to support without taking over
Tracker Box - mark it on your Bravery Tracker
Includes: Bravery Tracker, Certificate of Bravery, Letter to My Brave Lion, Family Bravery Notes (photocopiable for single-family use).
By Day 30 (Roar Day), your child won't be a finished lion. They'll have something better: 30 pieces of real, lived proof that they can feel afraid and act anyway.
