Welcome back to Gorillia, where even an ordinary day can turn into an extraordinary adventure!
In this seventh book of the Rishi Series, readers join Rishi, Kiri, King Montamahilla, Koko, Owen, Chai, and other familiar friends in five new stand-alone stories filled with humour, curiosity, discovery, and a few unexpected problems to solve.
Meet a cobra in the jungle. Discover what happens when an army of red ants arrives at Gorillia’s border. Shrink small enough to explore a world normally invisible to the human eye. Travel with Doctor Owen to Elephant Village, where a very large patient needs his help. And find out what happens when Koko decides that being King for a day really can’t be all that difficult.
What could possibly go wrong?
Between the stories, young readers can join the fun with puzzles, mazes, word games, creative writing, drawing, and other activities that encourage them to think, imagine, and add some ideas of their own.
Funny, imaginative, and sometimes surprising, Where Is Monty When We Need Him? celebrates friendship, curiosity, problem-solving, and the pleasure of discovering that there is always something new to learn.
And if you happen to see Monty along the way, please tell him we’ve been looking for him!
For readers ages 8–12.
