The Amateur Poet

This is a collection of poems I've written between the ages of 14 and 22, I am currently 23 years old. Some poems are diary entries or journals when poems were too much for me to form. Everything that was written is in its purest form; I did not alter them. I wanted them to show the raw and rough from where to start to where you end up. I still struggle with the same feelings I wrote about, but some days are just better than others.
The point is to keep going, keep pushing yourself and let yourself feel things in the process. You aren't alone and things are going to be heavy, but you don't have to just take it lying down. You're going to get pushed down over and over again, all you have to do is keep getting back up. So please know, just because I don't know you, doesn't mean I don't believe in you.
You are resilient, you have already been through so much whether you share it or not, you are admirable. I believe in you, I love you and you're going to get through this. Just one step at a time.
