PRIORITIES
PRIORITIES
Somewhere between what we want, what we need, and what we cannot afford to lose, we learn the meaning of priorities.
We give our time to people, our energy to expectations, and our hearts to things that may not always deserve them. Sometimes, we put ourselves last just to keep everything else from falling apart. Sometimes, we mistake attachment for importance and sacrifice our peace trying to hold on to what was never meant to stay.
But life eventually teaches us that not everything deserves equal space in our lives. Some things need our attention, some need our patience, some need to be let go, and some—especially ourselves—need to stop being neglected.
Because priorities aren’t just about what matters to us. They’re about what we’re willing to protect, what we’re willing to sacrifice, and what we choose when we cannot have everything.
