Turdle

Turdle is a lyrical young adult novella that explores disability and belonging through restraint rather than resolution. Set in a grounded natural world, the story follows Turdle after a sudden injury alters his ability to speak. As conversations move around him and help arrives disguised as correction, Turdle learns to observe, endure, and choose silence on his own terms.
