BANGUNGOT
What if a nightmare doesn't end when you wake up?
One hot July afternoon, a young man falls asleep and experiences something he cannot explain. He is conscious, yet unable to move. He tries to scream, but no sound comes out. And at the foot of his bed stands an old woman dressed in white, her face hidden beneath a black veil.
She holds his feet as he desperately struggles to escape.
When he finally wakes, he convinces himself it was only a nightmare—a terrifying experience he never wants to see again.
But that night, as he closes his eyes, a woman's voice whispers from the darkness:
“Gising na.”
Wake up.
Then he realizes something terrifying:
He isn't dreaming anymore.
