What If We Knew About Managed Decline Sooner?
In 2029, the populist British People's Party have taken power. To assert it, they want to start a war. Against scousers. But this is not a civil war. It's a conflict against a sovereign scouse nation.
Roger Seddon is a newly elected, Liverpool born Member of Parliament. He is determined to end this war before it begins, at great risk to himself, his constituents and The Socialist Republic Of The Isle of Dingle.
But he faces many challenges: A populist party in Westminster that is so dominant, there is barely an official opposition; A scouse outpost, founded on solidarity and good humour, whose naïveté has left it geopolitically vulnerable.
With Britain at risk of repeating past mistakes, Roger takes matters into his own hands, risking legitimising Britain's intentions, and placing Dingle in an existential crisis.
Will Dingle's sovereignty be short-lived? Or will it have the means to survive?

Its people are descended from a rebellious ancestry, one which fought the Conservative campaign of 'Managed Decline.' Proposed in 1981 and exposed in 1986. This nation founded on socialist principles, motivated by a deep, visceral hatred of Thatcher, finds itself navigating a classic idealism vs. realism scenario that is satirical, sci-fi, and most importantly, Scouse NOT English!
