The tension had been building for weeks.

consumed him. The false reports, the circling vehicles, the taunting messages —
all of it was part of a larger plan to humiliate Jack and the group on their
biggest night of the year.

Jacob, increasingly isolated and bitter, had fully
committed. His relationship with Martha had ended, his job was gone, and his
access to his children was restricted. Craig’s influence had become his only
remaining anchor, and he clung to it desperately.

Dex, ever the loyal follower, coordinated the group’s
movements, ensuring they had the means and the cover to execute the plan.

The night of the concert, the rain had started early. The
roads were slick, the warnings of ice ignored as Craig took the wheel of the
old truck. The three men — driven by resentment, rage, and a desire for revenge
— headed toward Central Park with a plan to disrupt the performance and leave a
