An Artificial Detective

Follow Chastity and Eric's investigation into a series of criminal
conspiracies, as they are joined by a most unexpected of
assistants. Cedric, the very Artificial Intelligence system used
by one of the targets of their investigations. During the course
of the investigation, Chastity begins to doubt medical malprac-
tice as the cause of multiple patient deaths but instead senses
that there may have been 35 cases of Assisted Suicide instead.
All she needs to do to prove that is to figure out what part a 14
year old Autistic girl and her now deceased father may have
played in the deaths. Chastity is torn because her mother had
died of breast cancer and opioid addiction at the hands of the
same medical and insurance corporations. Can she put aside
her own feelings to obey federal and state laws she feels are
inherently wrong?

Are they certain they can trust Cedric since their very own Law
Enforcement AI System considers Cedric to be its Prime Suspect.

Chastity also must deal with the challenges of her growing
relationship with her longtime lover Angelo. Life had been easy
when she did not allow herself to be in committed relationships,
and instead kept her own private stable of non-commitment
lovers to satisfy her whims. Now though she is considering
moving in with Angelo, and to make matters worse she begins
to think about the ultimate commitment of creating a Child
with Angelo and entering into that Jurassic and Misogynistic
contract of marriage with him.
