The Syndicate.. meeting the Jackal

Jacqueline is known locally is "The Jackal," simple because she doesn't give up. Being a P.I. that used to be a cop, owning her business seemed like the next best step? And with the Syndicate everywhere to give her more to investigate, work is almost too much to get resolve right now. With her ex hubby still around, still upset that she fell in love with another woman, a slightly dodgy one at that too, he finds himself back helping her trying to resolve local crimes. With a baby on the soon enough too, his head is spinning, not knowing which way to head at any one time.
The girlfriend is giving info to Jac because she's caught out at the local Crime Syndicates head quarters, but she's about yo get caught out? He said he kill her too before letting her go.
High speed, dangerous criminals, who will win out and will the Jackal have to retire instead, will she need to make early retirement plans after all....?
